My story starts when I had almost 8kg more than I am now. Last January, I had to make a decision doing something about my extra weight. In the past, I tried a lot of diets but none of them worked for me. Most of the diets had results but after I stopped the diet I was getting back the extra weight.
After those failures, I develop a philosophy about diets. I believe that is wrong to follow diets. Diets are for a specific period of life. But, do I wanted to keep the results only for a specific period of time or forever? Which was my real goal? Of course, I wanted to keep my weight stable in normal weight.
So ask yourself “Can I follow this diet in the rest of my life?” If the answer is “No” you must change the way of life. Diet is a way of life, not just something to do now and then you stop it and eat again those chocolates. If you stuck on diets I can tell you that this is a waste of time.
Therefore, the only thing I have changed was the time I ate, following the Fasting rules. This is what I did and I still do! And imagine what? It works!!!
I like food, I like it very much! Therefore, I wanted a diet that allows me to eat everything. Fasting is the only “diet” which has only one rule and allows me any kind of food without counting calories.
The only rule that fasting has is: Eat 8 hours per day.
The rest 16 hours you must not eat any calories. You may drink coffee, tea (no milk, no sugar) and water. So simple.
Is it difficult for you? Believe me, is very easy! If you decide which hours you will eat then your body will know it. So, after a few weeks, your body will be hungry only during those 8 hours.
Of course, I am not eating junk during my eating period. I am eating anything that I cook but not fast food.
Personally, I am doing fasting from 10 am or 11 am to 6 am or 7 pm! Which are normal hours! Don’t you think? This is my secret, my way of life that I follow and is not only the weight I lost. Fasting makes me feel better, not hungry and I didn’t get sick so many times during the year anymore.
