1# Letting your fears (about money mostly) rule your life!
Most people stay in a job that they do not like for 20-30 years because of they afraid to move on because they believe that they may not find another job. The same with a relationship. People stay in a “no love” relationship because they are afraid to be alone or because the relationship provides them with economical stability. Ask yourself if you love what you do and if you love your partner for real. If the answer is no is time to take the big decision and move on immediately.
2# Comparing yourself with others
We do compare ourselves, a lot. Let’s confess it! When we compare ourselves with other people most of the times we feel “less” capable and we spend our energy, thinking of this while we are crushing our confidence. Comparing yourself with others is not working. The only compare you may do is with your self yesterday and with yourself today. We are unique and different.
3# We do not appreciate our mistakes
Everytime we fail it is a chance to learn something we didn’ t know before. Failure is an element of success. This is a life process for letting us know what we do right or wrong. The right lessons empower us while the wrong lessons teach us to follow another direction in life. If we cannot appreciate our mistakes then we do not move on in life.
4# Our thoughts are not us
I know is difficult to understand it but we are NOT our thoughts. I can tell you what I do when my thoughts are nasty. I force my mind to throw the bad thought and instead to give me a good thought! That’s it. Sometimes we refuse to do that because a voice in our head says” It’s so nice here in sofa don’t go to the gym” but you may come out of your body and see if this is your voice or just a thought! If we learn to observe our thoughts then we will be aware of them and we will separate them from ourselves so they cannot control our actions anymore.
#5 Do not care about your body
Are you very busy to cook at home and you always buy prepared food? Are you super busy to go to the gym or to go for a walk in your neighbourhood? Are you too busy to book that appointment with your dentist? Do not be surprised if one day you wake up without any energy and your body feels like an old man/woman. Our body is telling us every day what it needs if we ignore it we will lose the most important thing we have, OUR HEALTH! So take care of your body.
