Happy New Year! It’s the start of a fresh new year and it’s time to set some resolutions for ourselves.
As women, we often juggle many roles in our lives—mother, wife/partner, daughter, friend—and sometimes our own needs get put on the back burner. This year let’s make sure that doesn’t happen by setting goals that will help us take care of ourselves too! Here are a few ideas:
- Make time for yourself – Take an hour each day or week just to do something you enjoy; read a book or magazine article you’ve been wanting to check out, go for walks around your neighborhood with friends and family members (or even your pup!), try out new hobbies like painting or yoga classes – whatever makes YOU happy!
- Get organized – Start small by organizing one room in your house at a time; this can be as simple as going through clothes drawers and donating items no longer needed or rearranging furniture pieces if necessary so everything looks neat and tidy again. Once one room is done move on to another until all areas are complete – you’ll feel much more relaxed after accomplishing this task!
- Eat healthy meals- Eating nutritious foods helps keep energy levels up while also aiding weight loss efforts if desired – find recipes online that look delicious but also provide plenty of vitamins & minerals essential for good health overall (bonus points if they’re easy enough even busy moms can whip them up!).
- Exercise regularly- Exercise isn’t just about looking good but feeling great too– set aside 30 minutes every other day either alone at home doing exercises like squats & pushups OR join an exercise class with friends so there’s added motivation from others who have similar fitness goals in mind!.
- Connect with loved ones- Life gets hectic between work commitments & household chores so don’t forget about taking moments here&there throughout each week where communication happens between those closest– whether it be sending text messages back&forth during lunch breaks OR scheduling weekly Skype sessions when distance separates families apart… these connections matter most especially when times seem tough emotionally speaking!
Let’s make 2023 the best year yet by committing ourselves towards achieving these achievable resolutions which will bring us closer towards living happier healthier lives!!
